Overleaf Events Is Your Space For A Dream Retreat

It’s hard not to imagine, when you’re staying at The Fireside Motel, how nice it would be to host your next small or mid-sized event on such picturesque grounds. There are such amazing views! And our landscaping, among the florals and trees and pathways, is top-notch! Any time of year, it’s a beautiful place to be.

Good thing the Overleaf Event Center is right next door to The Fireside, and it’s perfect for just such gatherings, whether you’re planning a group retreat (quilting groups, church groups, yoga retreats – we see you!), a family reunion, an employee team-building outing, even a book club meeting. Maybe you have a local event or meeting that recurs monthly? Enjoy a change of scenery by holding your event at Overleaf Event Center. It accommodates up to 50 people!

Seating and food

Conveniently located just a few hundred yards from our sister property Overleaf Lodge & Spa, the event center offers flexible configurations, including indoor banquet seating, board room and classroom-style setups, as well as an outdoor patio that’s accessed through French doors on the west side of the building. Enjoy that fresh ocean air! We can even suggest local caterers, should you want to have food; or bring in your own food – that is fine with us.

Overnight accommodations

Our helpful staff is here to help and is easy to work with. Should you or your guests want to stay overnight, that’s easy. Stay at The Fireside Motel or next door at Overleaf Lodge and Spa. Overleaf Cottage Rentals are an option, too, for guests who want a more beach home vibe or who want to extend their event experience into a vacation getaway.

Overleaf Library

On the second floor of Overleaf Lodge & Spa, the Overleaf Library is a wonderful space available to reserve for your smaller, cozy retreat or work session. The room, which accommodates up to 20, includes boardroom seating for 12, two circular tables with four chairs and couches. There’s plenty of room to relax!
